The Costa Camera Club was formed in 2005.  The members are of many nationalities who live permanently in Spain or visit regularly. Most are English speaking.

We are of mixed ability, ranging from absolute beginners to experienced amateurs; even the occasional professional. Members use a complete range of equipment, including basic "point and shoot" digital cameras, tablets and telephones - if you can take a photo with it then your pictures are welcome. Please do not be put off by thinking you need specialist equipment or years of experience.
We have varied interests; wildlife, portraits, landscapes or specific techniques, such as close ups. What we have in common is an interest in photography and are there to help each other and share social events. We put enjoying photography first.
We have staged four exhibitions. They have been very successful and even absolute beginners exhibit, with the help of others with more experience to advise and guide them if they want it. We also take part in an annual inter-club competition with three other clubs, each taking it in turn to act as host. We are the current holders of the trophy!!!
So, even if you are only thinking about taking up photography or are already immersed in  the subject we would love to see you. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month at 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the Salon Social in Capistrano Village ( next to the main swimming pool and just above the Cave Bar). Give us a try, even if you only visit Nerja for a few months a year . Why not come to a couple of meetings to see if you feel at home?
